I bought Heathers for, like, ten bucks today. God, I love that movie.

Watched 'The Fall' this afternoon. It was okay, I guess (I wouldn't tell anyone not to watch it, but I probably wouldn't recommend it). Lee Pace really is just beyond charming, though, isn't he? I can't wait until I get the first season of Pushing Daisies. :-)

I'm feeling miles better today.

I've been trying to reign in my entertainment-related gushing, but both the Fall TV AND the "let's try to win some mothafucking OSCARS" seasons have begun, so I don't think I can hold it back anymore. My apologies in advance.

Saw Mamma Mia! this afternoon and have been listening to nothing but ABBA since then. Man, they're brilliant. Anyway, I enjoyed the movie for the most part. Notice that I said "I enjoyed it" and not "it was a good movie." Because it's not. FINALLY a trailer for 'The Brothers Bloom'! I've been waiting aaaaaages for this to pop up, because the idea of the director of 'Brick' doing a con movie with two of my favs (Ruffalo and Weisz) was just too perfect. My general distate for Adrien Brody aside, it looks pretty fun:

Pajiba just reminded me that we're more than halfway through the year, and it's time to reflect back on the movies of 2008. So far, it's been a pretty good year.
