Alright, ladies (and gent). Last night's meeting showed that five out of six attendees are planning to write a novel-length story this year. This by itself is pretty impressive. I'm really happy that you are doing aall this stuff for our work! You know, I've been running around with this novel idea for years, never really able to grasp it and bring it to paper... But I'm quite certain that I can manage to produce something with the help of our creative writing group! Cool!
Did you know that I started participating this group in 2004? That's nearly eight years now- heavy!

Really? Is it eight years already? Wow. That's long!
I hadn't even realized it had been so long already. O.o
Well, if the group is still going in two years we can make a 10-year-anniversary party. :-)

I looked through my notes this morning - and I'm positive that I'll be able to come up with an approach that will satisfy everyone's needs.

Hmm... I'm not sure about that.
I think I first sat in a creative writing class in 2003. So, '04 is probably when we all started as well... perhaps a few month before you joined us.
Accordingly, 2014 would be our anniversary as well.
