My day began (if you can say yesterday ever ended) with my darling husband refusing to get up and help at 4:30 this morning when our daughter got sick, because he "only had an hour left to sleep before the alarm goes off". I have the urge to kick your spouse in the taint. Fortunately for him I can't do that from here. Bah.

If you weren't nursing, I would suggest you have a drink or three later. So... hrm. I know: have Jason watch both kiddos (or be on-call if it's past their bedtimes) while you have a long soak in the tub. Take a book with you (if there were a disaster-free way to knit in the bath, I'd have found it by now, right?) Breathe, relax, soak.

I concur wholeheartedly with j00licious. Including the kick in the ass for "darling" husband. the "i have to work" card does not come in the "daddy, husband and partner" deck. They joys of children include the joys of sleep deprivation. Tell jfroebe that whack he just felt on the back of his head was from me.
