And yesssssss, go get your big bang, too! I've done a few over the years. They're really not my favorite kind of challenge, but I do think it's nice to have had that experience, and to have committed to a Bang-length fic. Which, again, not my favorite, either to read or write--but it's always fun to experiment.

The length of the Bang-fic is intimidating, isn't it? Pretty much a novella. Which I haven't really done yet--I think my longest fic (not counting the one I wrote from cliffhanger to cliffhanger) is about 11,000 words.
Do you think the SPN fic and art community will stay as strong as it is right now? The thought that the fans will drift away haunts me, I admit.

I have no idea what the fic and art community is right now, because I only interact with it as far as my personal journal and my flist. I stopped considering myself part of the fandom community years ago, because it was too much of a vibe I did not want. So I'm not the person to answer that question, haha. I imagine it will be one of those fandoms that always has a small following, though! It's got that cult-appeal thing going for it. Maybe the bad vibes will even burn off one day, and leave behind happy, curious people. XD
