Good grief, where do I start. Hmmm, well basically they're getting ready for Mists of Pandaria later this month, and they revamped all the classes as well as the talent tree system and glyphs. Ranged weapon slot was removed, so you equip only ONE weapon. However, they also removed the Hunter's minimum range (thank GAWD) so you can fire point-blank now.
The new talent system is very, very, very different. You get a choice of one of three talents every 15 levels. Each tier basically does one thing (Hunters: Disengage, Self-Heal, Special Shot, Pet Boost, etc) but you choose how to tweak it. It helps to stop min-maxing, I think. There are some neato minor (vanity) glyphs, like "Fetch" where you can tell your pet to loot a corpse for you. Oh, and they introduced "Group Auto-Loot" which is lovely.
Maybe? I dunno. I did about 10-15 minutes of reading up on it and am adjusting to the changes rather well once I tweaked my rotation a bit. I've also been playing on the high-end side of the game for a while, so if you're not necessarily interested in doing the end content raids, you'll be just fine.
*chuckles* I'm afraid to touch my other 'toons for a while... not like I played them much, anyway. Hmmm, Demonology for Warlocks? My (low-level) 'lock is Affliction.
I think the new talent tree kinda makes sense. I can still sort of do my strategy of "As many passive talents as possible so I have less keys to press". :)
Ye-es. That is true. But Hunters have soooo many things they can do, it's still a keydancing frenzy. Even darkclawtwolf was surprised how many different keystrokes I have in battle when he's seen me play.
What are they doing to treat your bronchitis? My old GP, who retired a couple years ago, always plied me with horsepill antibiotics when I got my usual yearly flareup. My new, younger doctor gives me albuterol inhalers and some steroids, and it wipes it out in a few days. For me, it's caused by anything that starts inflammation in the lungs, which then goes on a feedback circuit. Inflammation and irritation lead to coughing and wheezing, which irritate and cause inflammation, and on it goes until I either see the doctor or an opportunistic infection appears.
