As far as this killer storm... if, and only IF, I see snowflakes will I worry. Every storm has passed us by this year. I swear they avoid me or something. :-)

At work, you just *know* it's going to be one of "those" shifts if THIS is the first thing you see when you open the first trombone case in the pile of refurbs.

I've been student teaching the last three weeks at an elementary school where band lessons start in grade 4 and strings lessons in grade 3. There have been quite a few moments where I winced when watching kids get ready for their lessons already.... poor instruments!

Theoretically, yes it's fixable. It's whether or not it's *worth* fixing (since our supplier doesn't pay much for the refurbs) that's the issue here.
