I need this to translate into $$$ for college, then a decent job, rather than tossing packages at UPS..

My one great fear remains that whatever Math course I have to take, it will bring my average down dramatically - it stands at 3.97 now.

My GPA at the end of college was 3.14, no, not because I failed to apply myself, because I'm so much of a badass that's the average I was aiming for.

Congratulations! When I got my grades up at Cal State San Marcos, the next year that translated to about $5000 in state grants, more than enough to cover the then-inexpensive fees at CSUSM. I supplemented the grants with a couple thousand in loans each year so I didn't have to work...

Find a loophole to avoid math classes. I did, and beat the system!
