It wasn't as much a view as it was a moment. When I was in Old Town Warsaw a few years ago, seeing double, stubbling around to find water to take advil with. The commemoration of the tragic events aside, the sudden stop of all life and activities on public roads must have been eerie indeed. It's what the Israelis go through once a year too, in honour of their victims of the Holocaust.
I find it kinda cute that the only common interest we share, according to our profiles, is "Elgar" - my namesake because of my family tree...
