Post-Election Day Thoughts

Though slightly disgruntled to get a text message from the Obama campaign at midnight last night announcing it (I was sleeping), I am still overjoyed that he won. I think this is truly going to be a turning point in our country, an opportunity to step forward and begin to earn back respect from its citizens and the world. I emailed my reps too. I have hope that we can see this live. Well we can go see it live anyway, but, you know, we can get a whole lot closer with tickets.

In any case, I will be a happy girl just to be in DC, hanging out with you and witnessing some history.

We should speak in French the whole time and everyone will think we've come all the way from France to cheer on Obama. :p

We also HAVE to go the Library of Congress aka heaven on earth. :)

Nah, my Constitution was just a quote borrowed from Mother Teresa.
TJ's Constitution won anyway, many years ago.
