Look, it's Yosemite! I climbed Half-Dome! I'm terrified of heights, but after making it all the way to the sheer rock face, it felt stupid to not go the last 400 yards. In case you didn't know, that face is 45 degree angle with two steel cables bolted into the rock face. It's stop and go all the way up. I made it 20 feet before starting to sob

Your pictures continue to be gorgeous! You're torturing yourself, aren't you? I didn't know you got hysterical when you climbed the half-dome. That's a huge accomplishment, though. I know I couldn't!

Dude, LOST MY SHIT! My pants were all worn out and during the 45 min+ exercise of ascending or descending the dome I SLIPPED! I watched the world in slow mo as my feet went over the edge (cause ya know sheer rock face). The other half of brain had sense of mind to cling to the cables for dear life. I screamed, everyone screamed. I then in a fit of stupid attempted to recover lost dignity by saying I did it on purpose. Dignity gone, perpetual fear instilled.

Holy shit. O_o The people beneath me wouldn't have been too happy when it started raining without a cloud in the sky.

It's been ages since I saw Yosemite, and I dunno if I remember it being quite this gorgeous, haha. XD I know we stared at Half Dome quite a bit, but as I was about eight climbing it was never really on the agenda. We did a few of the waterfall hikes, and that was more than enough!

Once again I'm torn between whether I love your wildlife and floral close-ups or your scenery shots more. :3

And holy crap woman that's like me jumping into a pile of spiders and howwwww. Intense!! o________o

If I ever find a pile of spiders, I will be sure to call you and we can be manly together!!! I wish I had more time to explore the valley floor. That alone was lovely. If I ever make it back I would kill to do the muir trail.
