Since I have so many photos backlogged on my computer/facebook, I'm gonna try and keep a regular updating schedule. That what I'll get through them...eventually

I was a mess of "OMFG I'VE BEEN ON THE BUS FOR HOURS GET ME OFF" about 3/4 of the trip. The scenery was fairly distracting for a portion of it but it was definitely miserable. PEOPLE, STALE AIR, TERRIFYING ROADS, CANNOT ESCAPE, CANNOT HANDLE!
So much beautiful greenery! eltea went to Costa Rica on a school trip when we were twelve and still talks about it like it's a mythical parallel universe, which… evidently it pretty much is. *___*

Hell, it's been almost 5 years since I went there and I still desperately want to go back. It really is a beautiful, mythical land. I miss studying tropical ecology and Spanish so much. The delicious food and science, the intensive specialization and micro-environments. A hotbed of evolution! (I could cry...maybe I'll go reread my textbook.) Plus over-the-counter narcotics! How can you go wrong?!
Also, as to the crocodile, way too fucking close. It was surreal. We were in a boat, but probably well within 5 feet. o_o
