Oh, I love this! The writing makes you feel the emotions right along with her...and it's so very like the side of Cuddy you know is there, but never get to see. Lovelovelove! =)
I like how you've got it that the scariest moments aren't always the ones that we regret. Very true. And the image of vulnerability evoked by the quilt-clutching bit was touching.
Aww. Thanks! There is quote, not sure who said it, but it goes, "you know you're at the right point in your life, if you're a little bit scared and a little bit excited." Which, I think, is the time of scary/excitement that comes along with things like relationships and job interviews. :)
I really like Cuddy. Unfortunately, she has very little opportunity for background development without having a major detour written into the show. But I really wish all the characters' pasts were elaborated on more. Especially their wild trysts with beautiful women (at least as far as Cameron, Cuddy and Foreman are concerned; Chase can stick with the boys). ;)
On the other hand, if we never known their past, they could really have had wild trysts with women without our knowledge! The possibilities, the possibilities...
(Hehe. If I weren't gay, I'd be all over Wilson, except that Wilson is all over House. ;)
