[Locked to Rose (originaldragoon, RT]

Tyki locked onto the woman's location and stepped through the rift. He had a funny feeling about this one, concerned that - like at Zechs' station - if he placed the rift somewhere else and tried to walk, he'd wind up causing a stir. So just in case, he placed the rift as close to her as he could manage, hopefully within the same room ( Read more... )

Rose just happened to be in her room at the inn her and her companions were staying in while they were Deningrad. She stood by the window thinking over what the Second Sacred Sister told her and the others several hours ago.

When she wanted to be alone, she always locked the door. Imagine her surprise when she heard someone just behind her. Always being one on guard, she drew her sword and spun around to face who it was. She arched a brow a bit when she saw who it was and lowered her sword some. "You, you were the one asking about dragons, correct?"

((I'll tag back later tonight. I'm just about to leave for work.))

Tyki took a step back when she levelled the sword at him, but he didn't look frightened or nervous in the least. He grinned at her brightly, raising his hands in an non-threatening gesture. So far as anyone could tell, he was completely unarmed.

"That's me," he said. "I did say I'd be right over, didn't I?" The rift he'd stepped through was a jagged, purplish rip in the fabric of reality, floating in mid-air near to the wall behind him.

He bowed with a flourish. "My name is Tyki Mikk, and I don't think I caught yours..."

((No problem XD I'll be here pretty much all weekend))

"True, but I did not expect you to appear right in my room, especially when I have the door locked." Nor did she expected to appear that quickly. She looked at the rip and arched a brow. It was certainly something she has not seen in her long life time, but it did not all out surprise her.

"I am called Rose," she replied as she re-sheathed her sword and gave him a respectful nod.

"Very pleased to meet you, Rose," Tyki said with a smile. "I wasn't sure exactly where I should come, so I figured it was best to simply appear as close to you as I could. I didn't want to startle anyone in your world in my efforts to locate you, especially since I didn't know your name."

He cocked his head. "If this is a bad time, of course, I could come back later.
