Tyki emerged from the virus to find himself in the Ark, disoriented and upset by the things he remembered from the day before. He immediately made his way back to his apartment via the doorway, certain he hadn't brought his car with him this time

"I'm sorry," he said. "My love... I wish I could have spared you from that battle."
Gently, he touched the bloodied nose. "Did one of our friends give that to you?" He was fairly certain of his guess. The only question was, was it Michael, Grimmjow, or Rufus who had punched Zechs to keep him from getting himself killed?

Though he realized how terrible it would have been for his husband if he had gone, and Tyki had done something to him - Zechs didn't know what he could do otherwise. He was not a man of inaction. He needed ... some kind of plan, if this happened again. Zechs always felt better with a clear course of action. He said quietly, "If anything, I should apologize to you for even considering it. The least I would want to do is intensify such a nightmare."
Zechs nodded then in response, looking only slightly rueful. "Michael hadn't been pleased at my response. I am uncertain how he had convinced his governesses to release him for the short time, but he and I had a ... disagreement." He inclined his head. "At the time, I was not up to par for my skill."

And Zechs had been drunk off of his gourd at the time.
"Let us be thankful, then," he said simply, giving his lover a squeeze. "We'll buy Michael a very large bottle of something he likes, and we'll forget the whole thing."
He reached for Zechs' hand. "How about a shower?"

The guilt in Tyki's voice earlier, that concern and worry in his face, wasn't forgotten. Zechs tightened his hold, his fingers cradling the back of Tyki's head, his arm wrapped around his husband. Such a thing wasn't so easily dismissed. But he didn't want to talk it to death - just make certain Tyki felt like himself, without such shadows disturbing him.
"In one moment," Zechs said, then bent to kiss Tyki deeply. Hopefully it would be clear to the Noah what he thought, and how much he believed in him. This was real. And Tyki would always act as he wanted to - he wouldn't be controlled by something else.
Zechs pulled back after a long moment, and took Tyki's hand. "Now, let us shower."

He was even more afraid than anything that Zechs would ask him where he had been, and then wonder how he had gotten to the Ark and back without any problems.
But Zechs seemed to be more accepting of things than Tyki could have hoped for. He smiled and squeezed Zechs' hand, leading the way towards the bedroom, where he paused and looked around. "Ah...Was this where you were fighting?"
