It was fortunate that Tyki already knew where Michael lived, though the tricky part would be doing this without waking up the Exorcist General who lived in the same house

Michael frowned in his sleep; there was someone in his room, and they weren't Nena or Cross, which meant that they had no business being there. His hand was closed around his knife (damn Cross for not getting him a gun) before he his eyes were even fully open, and he lay there, ready to attack. Unfortunately for them, Michael liked to stab first and ask questions later.
Tyki saw the frown and assumed that Michael was still dreaming, but either way it didn't matter. He reached out, quick as a striking snake, to slam the ether over Michael's nose and mouth while the other hand reached to grab him by the hair and stop him from moving his head to try to get away.
Michael didn't even have time to react before something was pressed over his mouth and nose (he'd never had someone move so fast that he couldn't track), and he was more or less hauled out of the bed by his hair. He had already inhaled a bit through what he realised was a piece of cloth, and judging by the smell, he really didn't want to inhale a second time. Luckily, Michael kept hold of his weapon, and without any warning, stabbed backwards into the person behind him.
The blade seemed to meet nothing but air, though considering the angle of the arms holding Michael with preternatural strength, there had to have been someone right there.
Tyki chuckled as the boy stabbed a knife towards him, and into where his body would be. Of course it was a normal knife, so there was little chance that it could hurt him. "Oh no, that's not going to work," he purred into Michael's ear.
He stepped backwards, still keeping the cloth over Michael's mouth, and dragging him towards the exterior wall.
