Do you own "A Tolkien Bestiary", from somewhere around 1989? Would you like to? I'm in possession of a copy in reasonable condition (but with a badly damaged -- half missing -- dust jacket) which I saved from just being donated to the Salvation Army store. Yours if it is of interest. (Otherwise it's probably going to the Salvation Army after all.)

FoTR opened the year I changed continent and hemisphere, and my Tolkien fan was reawakened. Then discovered fandom around 2003 or 2004 and the amount of friends, and ideas and good conversations that I have enjoyed both in lj and writing and reading fanfiction have defintely enriched my life. It's great to look back and take stock of how things started! :-)
