Update On Me

Apr 06, 2015 14:56

I had all four wisdom teeth removed on Thursday morning with sedation. This included one surgical extraction (fairly straight-forward), one partial bony extraction (the roots were lodged in my bone and had to be dug out), and two complex full-full bony impactions (my lower teeth were sideways and completely encased in my mandibular bone, so the ( Read more... )

Haha!! Me, too! It's not as painful now, but definitely still tender and sore. Hopefully soon...

Sorry to hear about the extractions. Those are never fun, especially since you bruise easily. They'd been after me to get my wisdom teeth out for years but I could never bring myself up to do it. One was removed eventually, but the other three are still in there and the topic comes up every time X-rays are taken. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for all your hard work on the ficawards. Any kind of modding is a huge task and you were brave to go for it. I'm sure the sshg community thanks you as well.

Thank you! I'm feeling better now, though still tender. I'm glad I bit the bullet and just did them all. Now it's done, you know? Though it hasn't been the most fun week.

It was a lot of work, even with two other wonderful ladies running it with me, and I felt like there was surprisingly little participation. It was a bit disheartening. So...I'm not sure about doing it again. I think it was also a bummer just because it ended up being bad timing when lined up with Easter and my wisdom teeth. I got cranky. ;-)

Yeah, getting the wisdom teeth out can be very tough. Most people will nod and grimace when you say "Four wisdom teeth." :-D I'm glad you got a chance to stay home and heal. Next will come some great projects courtesy of HGTV!

Hhahah that station is so awful. It makes me want to learn how to be handy so that I can build my own custom bookshelves and move walls and stuff. Unfortunately I'm terrified of saws (childhood trauma thing), so it wouldn't really work out well for me. X-D
