Hello world. I am still alive, somewhat. I've been meaning to write lots upon lots of stuffs here, but I'm lazy, so I'll just write something today, because today I was supposed to do a school assignment instead of watching anime (that makes sense ( Read more... )

Don't worry, they don't teach you to be good at anything at school. :P

What I mean to say is, don't be stupid. Thinking you're no good at something is exactly how to become no good at that. Knowing you're no good at it, is better. And then you just work hard and become good at it. There's more pride in that than in just having a talent for it.

Picture what you want to accomplish or eliminate, as prey, and yourself as a predator hunting it.

Lastly, knowing your negative sides sucks, but it's the absolute best position to act against them. If you're unaware of them, they'll stay with you unnoticed. But when you see them, you can react to them. They won't be this clear to you forever, but you should use this chance while you can.

Well, yeah, it's more knowing, really. When putting on my objective glasses, everyone is better than me. :p I see your point, my problem is that I'm so damn lazy. To continue your anology, I'm no predator, but rather a sloth.

Actually, I'm glad I know about my negative sides. And I try to work on the ones that don't require too much effort. Thanks for the advice. o/

Don't overestimate "everyone". The "everyone" is generally stupid.

And we become what we believe. ;)

I don't see you coming to Sandnes either. ;O

Where the buck is Sandnes? Trondheim is the trønder capital - can't say you've lived your life to the full without going there! ;P

And you seem to be busy all summer anyway?

Sigh.

I believe I am able to live my entire life without going to Trondheim, yes. :p And yes, my summer will be rather busy, especially counting all the anime I've planned to watch.

Recently, though, I've been more and more aware of my negative sides, and I kind of hate myself at the moment. D: I'm a giant failure who can't do anything right, and I never feel good at anything. I hope that's just a passing phase, though.
I've been feeling exactly the same! And you're NOT a giant failure. You're one of the amazing people that makes me feel useless. :toda: at those thoughts. Not true at all.

Congratulations again on the anime.no-position. n_n I knew you'd be a good choice.

May and June! \o/ My mom has already said that it's ok if you want to sleep over. :3 So it's just to say the word. ;O

Curses on the unability to edit. I meant that I've been feeling the exact same way about myself of course. Just to make that entirely clear. :toda:

Seriously? XD You're one of the many people who makes me feel useless too.

Wonder if it's some kind of "the grass is always greener on the other side"-syndrome. :cip:

Thank you! ^^

May and June! :D Hehe, awesome. I'll talk to Gunnar more first. Oh, and I'll probably aim for the second weekend, both because of the Matkveld and because there seems to be some sort of national holiday on the third weekend of May. :cip:

In fact, thinking everyone's better than you is a form of envy. And envy is a grave sin. So believing you suck doesn't make you a victim. It means Metal Jesus damns you to hell for wickedness! :O
