I recently spent two weeks in Scotland, doing a road trip (more or less) throughout the entire country, including a brief visit to some of the islands in the Outer and Inner Hebrides, and it was AWESOME. I know I've been a really crappy flister the past 3 weeks and I'm sorry but I have 3 good excuses.

Naturally I couldn't go to Bilbao without dropping by at the training centre in Lezama and watch my team practice! And even though J isn't really a football fan, he decided to come along - especially since the last time he was there, we'd spent too much time looking for the training centre and missed the entire training. In September I came home visited the Basque Country with my buddy J again, and we had an absolutely amazing time. We discovered new, exciting places, visited familiar but no less exciting places, enjoyed the sun and the Basque cuisine, had a blast spending time with our favourite Basque girls, xurda87 and her sisters, and, last but not least, saw Athletic ( Read more... )

On the 6th of August Athletic played a friendly against Tottenham Hotspur in London, and since it was also a welcome opportunity to see blue_eyed_miss again, there was no way I was going to miss that.
