Aw, I'm sorry! :( I could understand if you hated me for this because I've tried very hard to get over Xabi leaving Liverpool, and I still haven't managed, and fics about this topic clearly aren't helping. *sigh* I sympathise 100%, and I didn't even want to write a sad fic about them, but as soon as the prompt was published, I immediately thought of these two, and then "Midnight Blue" was playing on the radio and there was this line: "I won't apologize for the things I've done and said, but when I win your heart, I'm gonna paint it cherry red". And the fic practically wrote itself.

I'm all the more grateful that you found this a gorgeous fic even despite the fact that it completely messed up your plans of forgetting about these two. (But please, don't forget about them? They're meant to be, and a couple of kilometers can't change that!)

I don't really want to *forget* about them, but Xabi broke my heart into little pieces this summer and seeing him in the RM shirt is still hard for me and... I'm too emotionally invested in this, I guess! XD
