At least they said that before they showed his interview. I think he deserves it, though, he was totally awesome. :)

They played really beautifully. I posted a ton of pics for you in my lj :)

Villa hurt his ankle somehow on that free kick he took. :( I don't know if his cleats stuck in the pitch or what exactly happened, but he hurt himself. He looked so sad leaving the pitch. But awwwww to Cesc kissing him. ♥♥ I was very sad to see him leave the pitch though. My poor baby.

If Germany don't play up to par, Spain will win. It -should- be a good game though.

OMG, yes, they did. And I saw the pics!!! Thank you so so so much! Haven't had the time to look at them properly, but I'll do that as soon as possible and leave a proper comment, of course. :) *mwah*

Fortunately, Villa's injury doesn't seem to be too bad, so there's still hope for him playing in the final. *keeps fingers crossed* :D

OMG, I saw a pic of Cesc kissing David and was all asquee. So bloody cute. ♥

If Germany don't play up to par, Spain will win.
That's what I think, too.

Which I can't say I would be disappointed in. The way they have been playing football... if they play like that then will have deserved to win.

Exactly! And they had far more difficult teams to play against!

I just read a videotext article about Villa's injury not being that serious after all so I guess there's still hope for him playing in the final. :D *keeps fingers crossed*

Really? That would be good. They said he won't play, but let's hope he does *crosses fingers also*

When Aragones was leaving the pitch, he said that Villa had a muscle strain and would be out of the final. Villa said that he'd been feeling pain before the free kick, when he was sprinting.

Now, after examining it, a doctor says that it's not serious and there's still a chance he could play.

I was so happy with a lot of players this match. It was a great effort!

It still hasn't hit me fully that we're in the final. And what an interesting final it's going to be for you!

And after the game, there was this absolutely adorable interview with the Man of the Match, Andrés Iniesta, who beamed so brightly that I wanted to glomp him. ♥ Why do the Spanish players have to be so fucking adorable? *sigh*
Why the Spanish players are so adorable is something I can't answer. But what I really want to know is why my television station had to cut away from the match one minute after it ended. *grumble grumble*

Yeah, I read something about a muscle strain when I returned from work (after I posted this, *LOL*), but I'm glad that it doesn't seem to be that serious. *keeps all fingers and toes crossed*

Oh, I know what you mean. Can you imagine how difficult it is for me sometimes to keep myself from bolding the whole team? :D

But what I really want to know is why my television station had to cut away from the match one minute after it ended.
Because it knows nothing about football? *kicks it* :/

Ooooh! I didn't expect that! :D I'm very very happy, of course! :D I hope you'll enjoy the final! :D

And yeah, I have to admit I'm rooting for Spain, too, simply because they gave 100% in every game of this Euro so far, and they had much stronger opponents than Germany on their way to the final. But I won't be sad if the German team wins, of course.
