CHELSEA! Lol. It was really bad of you forgetting to take a photo of Daniel's jersey!

Hope you enjoyed your trip

Chelsea? Where? *is blind*
I really should have taken a photo of Daniel's jersey. But we were already late and I didn't want to make my mom wait any longer. She waited in the restaurant while my dad and I had the guided tour through the stadium, and that took quite long already.

I enjoyed the trip a lot, thanks! :)

Em. on the extreme left hand side lol.

Aww, that's alright then, last time I went to Stamford Bridge my mum came with us because she doesn't want to stay in the car.

OMG! You have good eyes! I never would have noticed that! I guess I was too distracted by the pretty ship. ;) But you know what the funny thing is? The round wooden plate on the bottom of the pic is a gift from Arsenal... ;)

I admire you for doing this so detailed. ♥ I think I would've forgotten most of the things right away again, but you remember everything. Phew. :D

The pictures are very great and I suddenly miss the stadium (I was there with footielove to watch Germany play Slovakia. I still need to upload those pictures... :( ) and it was great. Mwah.

I'm glad you enjoyed my report and the pictures! When things really interest me, I always remember quite a lot of details. But remembering starts with taking the right photos. When I see something interesting, I immediately take a photo of it (and sometimes, I take a photo of the information board, too, so when I look at the pics, I remember what exactly is in them).

Yes, you must upload those pics! I want to see! :)

Oh yes, I did! I mean, you can't have anything but a good time when you get to see the players' lockers and showers and then step out of the player tunnel and have such a gorgeous view, can you? :)

OMG! Yes! I'd love to know what the Ajax stadium looks like! I've never seen a Dutch stadium, so I'm most intrigued now!

You know, I'm seriously contemplating ordering a River Plate jersey. Do you know if they're still playing in jerseys with numbers on the back but no names? (Because that would suck, as I want to have a name and a number.)

Would you hurt me if I tell you that I've got NO idea? XD I have to check... I'd volunteer to check in stores here, but so far the only place I've seen they sell jerseys with numbers and names printed is Buenos Aires. The only part of the country that matters, it seems. *grumbles*

I wouldn't hurt you, of course - but I'm surprised! XD I mean, you've been so dedicated at preventing me from falling into the Boca trap, after all... ;)

But hey, no problem at all! And I didn't even want to know if they're selling jerseys with names and numbers, I wanted to know if the River players of 2003 had names and numbers on their jerseys (not the ones that got sold) or if they just had numbers. I mean, I do have pics of Micho from that time, but he was always photographed from the front, never from the back, so I don't know what's on the back of his jersey. That's my problem. :)

Wow! The stadium is amazing! And lucky girl you! I wish there was as impressive a football stadium (real football, not American football, people!) around where I live...too bad the U.S. still doesn't realize the joys of this game! And I didn't know they had tours! *wishes she could go take one* Maybe I'll have a chance to see it all in the future...

I really hope the MLS will become a bit more popular in the US so the clubs get proper football stadiums and don't have to play in the stadiums for American football. Considering the importance of the sport all over the world (except the US, yeah), it's just not fair.

*hugs*

Oh, and maybe you'd like to read a couple of paragraphs in my user info about my sexual identity...

oops...how did that word sneak into my comment?!...sorry! i know better and i still did it...if there was actually an "edit" feature, I'd fix it...

I'm hoping one day something amazing will happen here that makes the U.S. realize what they've been missing out on. It still drives me crazy that I have to watch the Spanish channel to get any good football (the U.S. channels tend to either skip around on games or only show highlights...even during World Cup games they tend to talk too much and ruin the game with their dumb comments) *wants to bash those U.S. sports commentators*

From what I was told here, the league itself isn't really that bad, the quality of the matches is okay - and the American team did rather well during the World Cup, too. But there are still major differences, and I'm hoping that this will change and football gets the attention it deserves. On the one hand, I'm still pouty about Beckham going to the States to continue his career, but on the other hand, he might be the one to make a change. :)
