hsh nordbank arena, hamburg (part 1)...

Amongst many other things, I visited HSH Nordbank Arena (HSV's stadium) when I was in Hamburg, and I thought I'd start my report with a picspam of it. The stadium is really beautiful, and the guided tour was awesome.

Glad you liked this post! Yeah, locker rooms are my favourites, too. Unfortunately, they're cleaned and tidied up before we visit them, but there's still a certain atmosphere in there, and it's awesome to think of all the famous players that have already been there, sitting right where you're sitting now... :)

Of course I watched the match! I couldn't miss out on that! :D

When I'm on holiday somewhere and the city has a stadium, there's nothing that can keep me away from it. And HSV's stadium is really beautiful, too, so it was totally worth it. :)

Haha, the Letzigrund (FCZ-Stadium) is next to a slaughterhouse.
OMG. O_O Yeah, that's bad, too.
By the way, my dad joked that they take the bad players directly from the stadium to the waste recycling area... *snickers* That would be possible at the Letzigrund, too, eh? XD

Yeah, we went there with a guide. (I don't think they'd have let me in there without a guide... *LOL*) She was great, she knew a lot about the stadium and provided us with lots of information. :) I'm sure you're going to enjoy your guided tour at the Joggeli! (Oh, how I wish I could be there, too!) And it's quite possible you'll see the showers and the locker rooms, too, because guided tours usually include those. :D

Wow! That's impressive! I haven't travelled enough to have had the chance to see lots of stadiums, but I'm definitely planning to remedy that! :D
