Off to my parents' now.

In the meantime, can anyone recommend me a good programme to burn the stuff on my harddisk on DVD and CD-R?
It should be freeware and easy to download from the net.
And it should not be Nero - I tried that but it doesn't recognize my DVD writer.

I've had great success with DeepBurner. Although, I haven't tried burning a DVD with it yet (only because I just got the burner and have had no call to use it yet).

Well that was a confusing post... let me clarify - I have burned tons of CDs with it with great success!! just no DVDs yet.
