The first part of the Blackbeard movie was on TV today. It was quite nice, except for the German dubbing, but I suppose that can't be helped until I have the DVD

How's the movie, visually? Is it shiny? Does it have many pretty shipboard shots? (especially cabins and bunks?)

Very shiny. :) Lots of pretty ship shots. Not so much cabins and bunks, alas, but maybe that'll come today. Also, Governor's mansion. And dark streets. It's really pretty to look at.

Hmm...I think I'll still skip the second part today - I don't like watching second halves of movies. I hope they'll repeat it, if not, maybe scavenge for the DVD.
