I just watched The Body in the Library with JackDav. He's playing a wonderful character, snobbish and permanently annoyed. A perfect bastard, really, but I love him OMG. *squee* I nearly fell off my chair when he was interviewing the girl scouts and suddenly stammering and clearing his throat. *LOL* SO DAMN CUTE. *wants him*
(
That's how JackDav's character looked after a girl scout was flirting with him instead of giving him the answers he needed. )

I guess Simon Callow would have refused to participate had he thought the concept homophobic; and at least they gave the women a chance to show they really loved each other.
- I have to admit that I wouldn´t have minded a kiss between Harper and Gaskell either, though... ;)

Well, the original concept isn't homophobic at all, as there is no hint of a f/f relationship... Maybe Callow requested it? I'm still looking for a possible explanation for the fact that they changed the plot. It must have a reason!
That scene at the end really was lovely, I must admit that. *nodnod*

Oh, be still, my fangirlish heart!! *almost collapses from mental image*

And yes, that scene was great. *And* I may have had the one or the other naughty thought about Tara Fitzgerald (because OMG, what a voice...!).
As for the fangirlish heart, I know perfectly well what you mean... I must have imagined him with just about any attractive human being of either sex on this planet... Very helpful on a cold day or to keep you busy on long train journeys. ;D

Surely Callow must have seen it (including the lesbian murderers) before he signed up for the part?
Very true. I suppose he had no problem with it, then. Though I wonder if he has read the book before.

Mmmhyes. Though I have to admit that I was distracted by Jack Davenport's 'hello bedroom voice' most of the time. *blushes*

OH YES. He's quite the slut in my head. :D
