Bwahahahahaha! Very clever and funny! Musical chairs with Jack! And James so determined to be adult and failing miserably. and then getting all smug at "winning" when Jack's ulterior motive meant that he really won anyway...

*goes off to contemplate the game that they are actually playing*

*giggles* Oh, thank you so much! I'm glad you like it! :)

Well, James really wants to preserve his dignity, but sometimes, he just can't. And Jack knows exactly what to do to reach that goal. ;)

Well, we know the boys, don't we? :D

LOL! Oh, poor James! He is so delightfully pompous in this, but I still can't help but sympathise with his wish (a)to keep hold of his dignity and (b)to win at all costs. But he should have remembered that Jack is never playing the game you think he is :) Very clever and funny (and I never knew that musical chairs was called 'Going to Jerusalem' - I learn something every day!)

Sometimes keeping hold of one's dignity and winning at all costs doesn't really go together quite well. And Jack knows exactly what to do to make James forget himself. Evil pirate. Not that James actually loses, though. :D

But he should have remembered that Jack is never playing the game you think he is :)
True, true. I suppose we can forgive James that, though. Maybe he still wants to believe that there's some good in everyone. ;)

It's called "Eine Reise nach Jerusalem" ("A journey to Jerusalem") in Germany and I browsed Google to see how it's called in English - and Wikipedia offered me two results, "musical chairs" and "Going to Jerusalem". The funny thing is that this game is played in lots of countries and has lots of different names... :D

Thank you very much for your comment! I always appreciate your opinion! :)

*giggle* I knew it! I knew Jack's vile plan from the beginning, but he is ever so sneaky with his foreplay.

*purrs*

Well, it was quite obvious. A chair and a game that forces the winner to sit down? James should have gotten the drift. Our benefit that he didn't. :D

Thank you! :)
