After very long filtered posts, finally an unfiltered one.

1.) Christmas presentsYesterday, when I came home, two packages were in my mailbox. The first was from Amazon.co.uk. I never order from there, but it's interesting to know that they know about me and consider me important enough to receive a christmas present. ;) Okay, let's stop that. I ( Read more... )

Will Bryant & Will Turner: I can't agree with you more. The 2 characters I do not like in POTC are Turner and Elizabeth because I thought neither of those performances were in the same class as Depp, Davenport and Rush. Yes, all the POTC characters are templates but the better performers brought something to the roles and made their respective characters larger than life. I didn't see Knightly and Bloom bring anything to the party.

Horatio/Pellew: Dude, they are doing it. It's book canon!! :)

Well, Keira wasn't doing too bad as Elizabeth as Orlando was as Will, but you're absolutely right. If the people responsible for the casting had chosen better actors for those two characters, it would have been much better. Of course, Depp, Davenport and Rush really make up for it. Their performance is brilliant. :)

Horatio/Pellew and Horatio/Bush are indeed book canon - even though Horatio seems to have some problems with Bush at the moment. He always snaps at poor William and never has a friendly word for him (though I blame Maria for that, he's feeling too guilty because he's incapable of writing affectionate letters to her). Well... Let's hope the boys make it up to each other soon. :)

WHEE!!! Well, when I open it on Christmas Eve, I'm sure it will have your name on the delivery paper. Then I know who it's from. :D If it's really yours, then thank you very much already! I squeed a lot when I found it in my mailbox and I don't even know what's in it! *lol*

*glomps you for good measure*

I got an Amazon package yesterday as well. But seeing has how I was already informed something was on its way, I knew exactly who it was from. ^_^

And I was not nearly as strong as you. My reasoning... "I'm leaving the day after Christmas! If I wait until then to open *all* of them, I won't have time to enjoy it!" heheheh. I'm so bad.

Well, I have one more surprise... ;) Or two more, seeing that you already opened your package! Bad, bad girl. ;) But your reasoning is quite logical and understandable, really! :)

Oh, I wrote that! Together with other adjectives that describe him quite well but are not nearly enough to describe him fully. :) You know, one is in danger of running out of superlatives with him. *swoons over icon*

Yes, but it can't be said often enough. He's also so cute and shy with her and I really pity the poor man.

Me too. I mean, he got himself in danger for her!!! And what did she do for him? Nothing. I bet she'd have shot him coldheartedly if she had had the chance. Bitch. *grmbls*
