Just a little "what made me laugh today" post.
I know I don't post a lot of Real Life stuff, but this is sort of fan related, so I figured it was a good excuse to try and post a video (hadn't tried that yet) I don't know if there is a fan girl gene, but if so... I'm pretty sure my kids have inherited it. *g*

My R, who seems to be the same size as your Sam, was sitting here eating lunch with my while I read my livejournal. (Am bad mommy) His commentary:

"Look Mommy, there's a little girl. She's watching TV. She's watching some Stargate. What's she doing? She's dancing to Stargate! I want to dance to Stargate to."

And up he pops from the tables to spin around to the music. Have we warped them, do you think? Or just raising them to appreciate scifi, maybe... lol!

I understand R's need to dance... there is just something about that song. LOL... all 3 of my kids just couldn't resist dancing to it when they were about that age. No matter where they were in the house, the would come running... do some sort of interpretive dance to the opening credits, then go back to what ever they were doing.

And I like your 'raising them to appreciate scifi' angle *g* course I sometimes question it when my middle girl keeps asking me to fix her hair like "princess leia" for school... I told her she'd have to wait till Halloween on that one.

LOL... even grown ups need to let loose. My hubby's a college professor (which you would think would translate into serious adult) and sometimes he even gets out there with her ;)

Oh she knows her Jack and Sam... Every time she sees stargate on she almost always say the same thing. First "Sam! her names Sam, just like me." Next "Wheres Jack?" (course in the last couple seasons I was asking the same thing ;) and lastly she will say. "they love each other... they kiss together" LOL I think she got the shipper gene as well *g*
