It looks like the scrubby land just goes on forever. And it looks cold!

There isn't much to the land out here.

In a 3 hour flight, we passed exactly 2 deviations from "flat" and they were man made, and right next to each other. So we flew between them.

Are you sure that you don't have that backwards, 140 knots is 160 MPH? A Nautical mile is right at 6076 feet or 1 min of 1 degree of arc of latitude.

I think you're probably right
