There are not enough words to describe how perfect this fic is, how absolutely satisfying it was to read, and how it is exactly the sort of thing I was looking for when I posted my prompty-thing.

I love the characterisation of all three of them; you make the Doctor/Jack side of things believable without being forced, and the Doctor/Rose interactions are lovely. Jack himself -- wow. He's obviously the Jack that we see in S1 of Doctor Who, but there are so many little subtle hints of the man he will become in Torchwood -- I particularly love the bit about Jack being willing to make a wager on one of his memories. That was painful, but in the best way, because of the way that the concept of memory has been such an integral part of Jack's character throughout all of his appearances in both shows.

Just... wow. And so much love! ♥ ♥ ♥

*I may not be entirely serious about the babies bit.

Much love and relief! I am overjoyed to know you liked my little fic. It was a strange and rewarding journey for me. There just isn't enough of the DW S1 Jack in our fandom.

I am so glad you liked it! I really wanted to give you just what you asked for, but I don't normally write threes, and I don't normally think of the Doctor as a sexual being. I had to come up with some way to write this that I could buy into, and this was it! I'm so glad it worked for you as well!

Oh, and sneaky Miss Foxy beta'd and gave me just the right push to make everything work! She is miraculous, she is!

(No worries on the babies! I don't want any that aren't little furry menaces, and I've got enough of those right now!)

Even though I like the Doctor in certain pairings/threesomes, I think that it's very difficult to do it well and in a believeable way -- but you just did it beautifully here, I think because you didn't over-do it, you just made it seem like something that was there, in the background, and the way he suggested the threesome with Jack was so logical -- it was a cerebral process rather than a physical one.

I will love this fic forever. *cuddles it*

I love this portrayal of Jack. It's just brilliant. Rose is adorable and the Doctor is lovely as well. Great job!

Aw, anon. :( Even I ached for Jack here. It was a beautiful story. Absolutely lovely, and it was supreme the way you wrote this insecure Jack (so, so Jack, all kamikaze style) and how the Doctor and Rose handled the situation, and it was so sweet. But but... That last sentence... :(

But he knew, if they were willing to take a chance on him, he’d stay forever.

It broke my heart, anon. :( In the good way, I think, but still, poor Jack. :/

Awesome work, anon. And as I was reading it (I took a lifetime to finish it), I was thinking 'HAHABLOODYHA! LEFAYM IS GONNA GO CRAZY ON THIS!' xD

Hey, You! I'm glad you liked this. I did know that, with the future that we already know about, the last line was a tragic set up. But, it just had to be that way! And the fic itself was about the happy "now".

Sorry for the heartbreak. I would never want to do that to you!

If I liked it? I LOVED IT. It's awesome, Thadd! I would've never guessed it was. Lol I was convinced this was Foxy's doings. It's too good, and heartbreaking, but in the awesome sort of way. :)
