As much as I hate my job... I work for a pallet racking company and if that was our rack (or one of our top competitors), that wouldn't have been so bad. I reckon if they went for quality rather than price, they could have saved 80% of that stock and maybe had 3 or 4 bays collapse instead of the whole lot...

I'm guessing they have (had?) some cheap racking and hoped for the best... like so many places do. You wouldn't believe the shit I've seen major major companies do with their warehouse racking... it's mind blowing and absolutely fucking stupid.
