Oh, very clever -- including Figo periodically so I have to scroll through ALL THAT HAIR AND POUTING! Cruel, you are. *grin*

Aw, the eager rodent brigade are happy for him! And This hairdo and sunglasses are so, so Chelsea-era Mutu that I'm transfixed with horror at the resemblance. Excuse me while I got and scrub my brain.

*smuggity* I had to do something to make you look at them all! [Don't tell me you wouldn't've done the same thing.]

I have seen worse sunglasses (usually on Jenson Button), but they are pretty damn scary. WAI DO THEY HAVE NO TASTE? Are taste and athletic ability mutually exclusive within the human brain? *boggles*

*huffs offended-like* As if I have picture of Nuno Gomes! Apart from, you know, all the same Portugal ones that you do. I try not to notice him, though.

I wonder if it's a delusion whereby they think b/c they are hot (according to some people) and famous, they look good in everything? I think Figo follows that HORRIBLY MISTAKE thought process when he picks out his sunglasses, too. *sigh* As does Zlatan but, oddly, it actually seems to be true for him ....

*pats* I wasn't accusing you of having a secret Princess!folder or anything, just that I am sure that at least some of your extensive Figo/Rui collections will feature him somewhere...

I don't know, it could be, I suppose? I am going to conduct a little experiment, I think - I am genuinely curious now.

Oh, Ruby, thanxxx! As I migh have already told you, how can one regard Ronaldo Portugal's current chief pretty, with Nuno Gomes around?!

> Some might say I have a weird thing for petulant, stroppy handbags.

My case exactly.

As for his occasional fashion blunders, I think if a handsome/cute guy commits one or to, it only stresses his natural good looks in some tender way. After all "we LOL because we love" - and at those we love most:)

You're welcome, he is just delicious.

And you're right, if they were beautiful and talented andstylish, there'd be no hope for us mere mortals, would there? *grin*

Well, yes - but think of all that would have been lost had I just kept the Rui/Nuno pictures and ditched the rest!

[BTW, you mean this Fiorentina one? Hypnotic, isn't it? I just wish it was better quality so it could be iconed.]

OMG, Nuno Gomes!

My first football crush ever. I fell for him in the France - Portugal Game at the Euro 2000 and after this summer it is as strong as ever. Pictures like that totally don't help... So, so sad to think that was his last big championship.

So many new pictures here, I have almost no pics of young Nuno becuase at that time I wasn't in the internet, thanks so much for posting them!

Yup, Euro 2000. Boy, did I sit up and take notice during that England game!

You're very welcome, I'm glad to have provided some new pictures for you.

I think my fave's the one where Nuno is striking the disco pose with Maniche on his back. And now I want v. badly to know if his hair naturally kinda waves over the ears, or if that's the product of hours with a large-diameter curling iron.

I think it does. I think he has one of those double-cowlick things, as the front of his hair ALWAYS stands up like that. (My husband's is the same, he hates it.) Surely no-one would voluntarily do that to their hair?
