Jack was sat on the windowledge of the room that he shared with JD, it was early evening and this meant that on the closest rooftop there was a pterodactyl sat who he was occassionally asking questions to. He was trying (and for the most failing) at makeing a comprehendable list for things that he needed for the wedding so when he panicked and left

JD came through the door with an exhausted smile on his face and gave Jack a tired smile. "Hey, you." he said, pulling off his scrubs top and putting it down. "Had a nice day?" he asked, walking over.

"Oh it's been interesting." Jack slid down from the the windowledge to give JD a hug, since he looked like he needed it. "How about about you?" Arms lingering round JD before he leaned away to see JD's face.

"Not so good." he said with an attempt at a proper smile, trying not too look as upset as he actually was.

"Oh give up with the brave face. It's me." Jack hugged him again, trying to decide bed or chair for this, whatever made JD upset Jack proably wasn't going to be too happy about, so bed it was where it was easier to hold him. "Tell me." He said gently as he headed for the bed.

"No." Jack shook his head. "Far from it. He upset you. Tried to..." He couldn't bring himself to say it for a moment. "Take you away from me." What little he had to go from. "JD, you have to tell me what went on." Before I go do something stupid or perfectly called for. He wanted to go anyway for making JD upset, he was going to

"Jack?" JD frowned and stood up, walking forwards he caught the flash of a gun. "Jack, what's going on?" he asked, taking hold of his arm. "Jack, you have to calm down." he said a little desperately, gripping Jack firmly, JD tried to steer him away from the wardrobe. "Jack, I'll tell you, but you have to calm down." JD tried to catch Jack's eye, looking at him with a worried expression written across his face.

"I'm calm." Jack took a breath and looked at JD, then actually did calm down slightly.

JD smiled a little and put a hand to Jack's face. "Do you want to sit down?" he asked, trying to keep his face normal, not upset. Hold me.

Jack gave him a hug. "I really hope I don't." He laughed. "So, while I have that to look forwards to what's next on the list?"

JD looked down and gave a chuckle. "I don't think I'm doing it naked..." he said with a smile to Jack.

"A guy can hope can't he?" Jack pouted and then laughed. "I was thinking I dig out the proper uniform and wear that, hat and all, I didn't write that down. How's that sound?"

JD grinned and leaned in to rest a head on Jack's shoulder. "That sounds nice!" he said, smiling. "Kilt sounds nice too. What one do you want?" he asked, feeling oddly comfortable doing this.

"On the ground, by the lake with the trees." Jack decided eventually. "I'm sure we can still see the stars. But I don't mind as much long as you're there."

JD smiled. "On the ground, by the lake with the trees it is then." he said with a smile. "Yeah, I know what you mean." he said in response to the second part, giving Jack's hand a quick squeaze.

"You sure?" Jack pulled JD a bit closer to him. "Okay next item to go through." He quickly made a note of their previous decision on the blank page, ripping out his list to give to JD to hold and go through while he wrote.

"OK, er...ceremony?" he asked, looking at it. "You want it to be small?" he asked, agreeing with the decision.

JD smiled wistfully, picturing it in his head. "I don't know about the Horsehead Nebula, but we could maybe...get out there?" he looked at Jack. "Torchwood had ships, right? If you wanted, we could try and get one for a while?" he wasn't sure if it was possible, but JD wanted to give Jack the best wedding he could wish for.

"That was the last." Jack said with a sigh, but things fell to Earth a lot. Cardigan bay in Ceredigion got a lot of UFO sightings. Maybe Ianto would know. "I need to speak to Ianto." It wasn't that far out to get there.

"I don't mind where we go, as long as it's with you." he said with a smile. "I just want you to be happy too."

"Seems sort of bad now to just suggest Cardiff." Jack closed his eyes a moment resting against JD. "That's all I want with you." He sighed slightly. "I have to know JD, what did he say." He opened his eyes waiting, knowing on one level it was a bad idea to have asked that.
