I was worried that my Esca in this was a little ooc but now it doesn't matter if that is true or not, b/c I know he's likable :)

I'd never written this kink before and Esca was kinda freaking me out, so I had to really emphasize how good a guy he is just so I wouldn't be squicked out by him and now I think I'll be writting more of this kink in the future.

I've gotten such a fast and kind response to this fic already that I will certainly be writting much more fic for this fandom!

Well, it's modern Esca, we have quite a lot of freedom in depicting what would he be like if not for the whole war/murdered family/slavery burden. He definitely has a very strong sense of right and wrong, and your Esca is like that as well (and his weaknesses only make him more real).

Unapologetic dub-con can be hot as hell, but it was, IDK, refreshing to see a character considering both the ethical and practical implications of it. I think I will be a big fan of the way you put together your characters' headspaces :D

Oh god oh god, this was my prompt and I LOVED THIS. This fill was exactly what I was hoping for when I prompted dub-con and your Esca was so perfect. I loved his struggles as he fought against what he wanted and debated with himself over what he felt was right/wrong, and your Marcus was so sweet and strong and repressed (and I loved all the descriptions of his body!) I really enjoyed the humour in this, and poor, worried Esca wanting to adopt a baby (!) was so sweet... I also love how you brought it all back to the issue of Esca taking what he wants without asking. Wonderful. :)

This is AMAZING!
I really liked your characterization of both Esca and Marcus - I particularly liked the way you dealt with the dub-con, having Esca freak out when he realized that he was acting kinda creepy (but in an adorable way, heh). Also I've got a thing for sweet!repressed!Marcus and I adored your take on him. You really made both characters come alive to me.

This was a great mix of hot, adorable and funny!
