She startles at hearing Kagome's name, then Sango's, then Naraku's (the latter spoken of with no respect, thankfully) and switches the feed so she may speak to the man.]

I have known Sango almost since I arrived to this place, good sir. We have grown to be very good friends in the last four months. I have met Kagome only recently, and she seems to me a fine and respectable woman, as is Sango.

He's one of very few people she can trust to be able to protect when things get rough, a list from which she herself is beginning to be excluded. And it's another ally whose help she doesn't need to shun in order to protect. InuYasha is already hopelessly entangled in Naraku's web, just like her.]

...I can't even believe this. First Naraku, then Sesshoumaru, then Kagome--after all this time--!

[But she's being incoherent, she realizes. She takes a deep breath.]

Look, InuYasha, this is going to be confusing, so listen well. We're not in our world anymore. [A pause, to let it sink in.] We're in a place called Adstringendum, where worlds literally collide.
