This is a beautiful and interesting piece of choreography for two Chinese amputees - A male dancer with one leg and a female dancer with one arm. They have a lovely way of moving together and just becomes creative as it progresses ( Read more... )

This is a nice post. i am working with a ballerina in a wheelchair at the moment, she runs
a mixed ability dance company. if this kind of thing interests you beyond the above post, let me know and i can let you know when the show is on.
meanwhile, are you coming to the trans(guy) health jamboree thing, or going to the hippy jew fest? or?

Nope, too hippy. But hope you both have a great time.
I've never been to the health conference, and have a meeting with some curators in PA.

Kitty Lunn is the ballerina, she is gracefull and relentless. When I saw her stand up, I gasped. Working with her has called me on a lot of my own stuff. She has asked me to sing some chazzanus for some of her work, I discussed it with some Rabbis and I feel ok about it. Here is a picture:
