Perhaps one of my favorite metal bands, Enslaved delivered a sweet new album recently. Titled "Ruun", its been a pretty difficult album to get my head around. Actually nothing Enslaved does is actually easy listening (however Ive been told that their first album was just plain Black Metal served straight). i don't think listening to music has ever made me wet before. a wide variety of emotions, yes, but never turned on, really.

but what's wrong with james murphy or isaac brock? on the contrary, i don't think i'm snubbing anyone by listening to those two new albums this week. if anything, i'm quite unoriginal because both artists are quite mainstream indie rock, if you can use that term without being contradictory.

don't think i haven't enjoyed this bickering :)

Acutally Im sorry.

Im just an asshole because its just so easy to make fun of indie rock and half the stuff I make fun of I actually listen to anyway.

So...tell me how that new LCD album is ok?

ehhh its okay. it's a bit more pop than the last one. whereas the last one was more dancey and somehow more pretentious. or maybe that's just because one of the tracks on the last album was called "yeah (pretentious mix)"
