Passion

Synopsis: All of the conflict between Giles and Jenny comes to a head and ultimately becomes insignificant as a vengeful Angelus suddenly sets his sights on our dollsome Miss Calendar, and Giles must rush to save her from meeting her untimely demise.

Thank you so much!! We're so thrilled that you are enjoying the RP, and are even more thrilled that you would sign up for LJ just to leave feedback. Truly that means a lot to us to hear how we're doing. We definitely get a lot of joy from writing it and being able to keep Jenny alive. :)

Stay tuned! We're going through a bit of writer's block right now, but I hope to pick this up again soon!

Yep, exactly what I thought, a perfect solution for a great but totally cryworthy episode. Now we can all pretend it played out like you wrote it. :D

Aww, thank you so much! I personally was super excited for this particular episode - not just because of turning it around and being able to let Jenny continue the life she deserved, but because of where this can go creatively now that it will deviate from canon.

I'm very excited to pick this up again, and I'm so glad you're still enjoying it!

I LOVE how you did this. (Oh how I wish Joss would have done the show this way. He.. it... could have been pg13? Okay fine. The least he could have done was kept her alive)

This whole chapter was win. Seriously I was checking more than once a day to see if you guys have updated yet or not.

I agree; Joss totally missed out. And yeah, I suppose I could've settled for a PG-13 episode, haha. Or at least several thousand hints that they slept together shortly after the rescue, lol.

Once again, Passion was one that RepoManda and I DEFINITELY had a Squee fest over! :D She would text me and be like OMG! THEY ARE UPDATING!! And I would hurry and get to the internet so that I could read it and then we would sit and wait, checking constantly to see if you guys had updated.

You guys did an awesome job of working around the tragic end for our Twosome and I give you TONS of props for that. :D

And I have to agree with Manda, the mood killing giggling was PURE and EPIC win.

Awww, thank you! Ever since this RP started, Passion was the one I was the most excited to get to, just because of where I knew we would take it -- these two deserved so much more than what they got, so I'm glad we were able to bring that to life in a believable way.

And the mood killing giggling was fun, wasn't it? wench_for_hire has an uncanny knack for zeroing in on those little details about Giles that make him so lovable.

I don't know how many times I've read over Passion now, wanting to get all of your little details, but ah--such a great rewrite of the episode. Totally works with what could have happened on screen as well. I am rewatching the second season right now with my mom, and I am dreading getting to Passion. <3 You kept Jenny alive and that is fabulous. I cannot wait to see where else you go with your story. You two are both marvelous writers who manage to capture their character's essence to a T and expand on them in ways that make them feel like fully realized people. <3

Gah! Sorry I didn't find this until now, but thank you SO much! I'm so glad you're still enjoying this.

I always dread getting to Passion during re-watches too, haha. It's far too traumatic, which is why we decided to go a different way.

And though wench_for_hire (england_giles) has officially left behind the Giles/Jenny ship for good, the story will continue from each POV! I hope to have more ready for you soon! :D
