I really love that you made Cedric use 'muggle fighting techniques'! I've always thought that Cedric would believe in other ways besides magic spells. Bravo!

I also enjoyed that you threw Ron into this. Seeing the story through his eyes was very refreshing, and it added a lot to the mysterious glamour. I forgot, was glamour an actual magic in the canon series, or was that a device you created? Either way, it's a really intriguing idea!

I adore your story so much! This chapter read like action-packed movie. I've really fallen in love with your story as a whole. Its got to be one of my favorites. :D

I like the idea of kickass!Cedric. While magical dueling has its uses and can be faster than a speeding bullet and more cruel than the iron maiden, in the end I love martial arts and bodies in motion, so I let Cedric fight.

I'm glad that you liked Ron. I figured that, since Neville, Luna, and Hermione got to say their share, the tale wouldn't be right without Harry's best mate. I don't know that a glamour is canon in the series, but it's pretty much a given in British/Irish folklore, so I ran with it. The glamours for the Unspeakables and how they were used - I totally made that up, but I was improving on a long tradition.

I'm glad that you liked it. I'm usually any good at describing things, so I'm glad the action worked for you. I'm also very flattered that this is one of your favorites.
