[Torn's been in his room, doing his usual listening to the network and sorting through his piles and piles of papers. At some point, he decided he needed a shower, so off he's gone to get clean. The comm, of course, comes with him. Sure, he can listen in to things later, but he'd rather not if he doesn't have to. It's sitting on the sink when

Jeez, someone did a number on your room! Can you read what it says?
[He's personally viewed this particular clip seven times and decided it's not a language he's ever seen.]

Of course. Video. He hadn't even realized that's what had switched on.
Careless, Torn. Hopefully nobody who reads Precurian sees any of that.]
Yes.
[Yes somebody did a number on his room? Yes he can read what it says? He's not really up to elaborating.
AUGH, HIS EARS.]

[She sounds different. Is this how round-ears hear all the time? It's so muffled.
She won't see a lot of interest. Three room numbers--she'll recognize one of them as her own, but all three are unlabeled. Disjointed notes about "tags," "numbers," and "seventeen." The word "twins," and the name "Ironhide" which has, curiously, been broken down further. There's a line with the definition of "iron" (a metal, of course, but sometimes also a tool for flattening cloth) and "hide" (skin, flesh, to be unseen).
Phoenix's name is visible at the very edge, partially crossed out.]

It wasn't meant to be a comfort, just a statement of fact. The last time this happened, we were all sent off to some pointless celebration. [Wherein Maia decided to drink until she was given an opportunity to mess with Phoenix. As awful as that evening had been, that part was quite amusing.]

Maybe he should change that expletive to "Maia's tits."
They're very impressive.]
...Stands to reason that'll happen again. Some warning.
[Torn hates parties. Please don't let it be a party. Forced socialization is some kind of torture for him. One-on-one is bad enough, if he has to spend time with a group? Awful.]
