twenty five points

Your brain must be an interesting place to live, Argent.

Oh, Ran. I have always quite thought so, though this is barely the tip of my iceberg. Still waters and what-not, yes?

Don't tell me there's more where that came from, Lord Byron.

There is always more, my dear. I just require the right inspiration! The proper artistic flights of fancy or wellsprings of anger to bring forth my words!

Lord Byron? Really? I hardly think I am mad, bad, or dangerous to know.

So this is that big secret you've been musing about, looking terribly amused over for the past couple of days?

Cause if it is, I tell you this, G:

SO TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT.

If I were a better man, I'd give you constructive criticism. But unfortunately, I'm so not that guy, so instead I'll just giggle in your general direction. Sound good? Cheers.

I am glad not to have disappointed, Throne. Without a dictionary or thesaurus to aid me, I must confess that this was quite a struggle at times, and I was not entirely certain I would overcome. I quite nearly gave up!

But, yes, here we have it. My ode. My concerto. My masterpiece. My magnum opus.

When do you ever disappoint, G? Though this time I think you've outdone yourself, personally. Magnum opus is right, dude -- now you can retire early and live a life of quiet solitude in the woods, satisfied knowing you've brought your life's work into the world.

Should I even ask what inspired this, G? Or does real genius know no origin?

Ah! Say it isn't so! Have I peaked so soon, Throne? Must I now resign myself to a life of striving vainly to capture my former glory while being secretly aware, in my soul of souls, that I shall never be quite as sharps as I once was?

Goodness, though, Throne! I should think that obvious. It is this latest automotive distraction we are forced to suffer through!

It figures you'd manage a poem where I just screamed and cursed at people.

...is he like this all of the time?

Pretty much. I think people either love it or hate it.

Ah. Good to know.

Well, people sometimes can be absolute morons, so I suppose I can see how this is possible.

Wow.

I am completely impressed. Applause all around.

To have impressed you, Drake? Quite makes my day!

I am glad this first venture or mine into the literary arts has received such a warm reception.

To be able to get something to rhyme and scan like that takes talent. Hats off to you, my friend.

Oh, Drake! You shall make me blush, which as a rule, I do not do!

You can't know until you try! Perhaps you shall also discover that you have something of a gift for words!

I think I'll be alright. But it's very good, from what I can tell.

Well, thank you very much, then! Though, if the mood does strike you, don't resist. Embrace your inner poet! It is quite freeing!
