There are some things you just have to rush home and blog about, but since it took me three hours to "rush" home I wound up rather tired and might have accidentally fallen asleep on the couch.
Yesterday was a big day! Leaving at 8am, driving 3 hours all the way to Ballarat to meet some very lovely ladies from the craft blogosphere - no axe murders present!
Ostensibly organised to catch up with Trash, I wound up meeting a whole gaggle of crafty ladies and making many new friends (and finding new blogs to read!)

We'd soon taken over the store and were talking a mile a minute and pawing over fabric, buying some and being gifted some more. Emma from Ballarat Patchwork had a destash so I grabbed some lovely wool, some pink polka dots, and some white polka dots on white (didn't really show up so well in this photo)... Or maybe they were from Jodie's destash - I couldn't tell by the end!
Some ribbon ALL the way from England (thanks Trash!) and can you believe it?! I actually won something! I won a doorprize of a quilt-top pack, and I can't wait to make it - it will be my first big quilt!
And I actually bought the bunnies - I had to, you see. They looked at me with those big eyes and I couldn't leave them behind - but I think I'll regret not buying more!
We lunched in Eureka Park under the shade of a tree (us crafty ladies are the sensible type - no sunburn here!)
Then off to Jodie's house for a cuppa and an ooooh and aaaah at her sewing room (I'm a little bit jealous!). I thought maybe it would be a bit weird to take photos of someone else's house and put them on the internet so I restrained myself but it's safe to say her house looks like it came straight out of a Homemaker's magazine - gorgeous!
