OOC: I have a love/hate relationship with my main's guild. On the one hand, there are people l like there. On the other hand, there are some people I consider to be self serving douches there. The guild leader doesn't seem to see the self serving part and plays to it

I used to play on Emerald Dream (Alliance). I still remember getting ganked by a rogue (I played a pally back when seals disappeared when you judged) about a billion times in Ashenvale. Fun times...

Been leveling with LFG and just a smidgen of questing on the side (True story, I dinged the 100 Quests achievement at level 67 - that's like...a little over a quest a level!) so happily, I missed out on the ganking part this go round. But since all of my decently high level chars except my very first one have leveled on PVP servers, I've certainly been there and done that :-)

I have put my main on hold. No really. I am a casual player, and I really, really don't like raiding. Try playing a tank then. I love tanking! I have gear good enough for heroics. But as soon as the party sees it is not raid-gear, they give me grief and then kick me out. :-/ Annoying to say the least. So, alts it is! :-D

A) That sucks. B) While you don't have the 50K+ health pool of a raid geared tank, I've tanked everything 5 man on my young paladin, including Heroic Halls of Reflection, with ~36K health or less. I dinged 80 on her, got her into some crafted upgrades so she'd be def capped, and stepped into my very first heroic with 25K health. And we did just fine.

(Futhermore, she's *still* using the same shield you are using in your icon there!)

Oh, I am even more then defense capped. I don't know what to do with all the defense I have! And I pick up any upgrades I find, no matter what they are. Still... people stare themselves blind on my healthbar.... not if I am a good tank who knows what I am doing or not. Damn annoying. And yeah. I had that shield for soooo long. Then I got pulled through Karazan and got a better one (with horns! how badass ain't that!). :-) Yay, awesome guild!

ty, the prose bug bites me a lot, usually when I can't actually get anything written down. P2 of the story is up. There's going to be a P3 and maybe more at this point.
