How annoying! Cell phone companies are always so much fun to deal with... I remember a problem I had with Sprint when I ordered a phone online, paid for it, and then they charged me for it on my phone bill. it took almost 6 months and many hours on the phone, bank records and credit card receipts, to show them I had paid for the phone twice. Ugh.
That's why I always felt so bad for the customers when I worked for Nextel. I will never work in a call centre again for as long as I live. Those same kinds of problems went on at Nextel all the time and their customer "care" department was the worst.
Sprint just had way too much going on at one time, and no central system to track it all. I did get $150 in credit on my account for my trouble, so they definitely treated me right in the end, but it was annoying up until that point.
