omg so obvious ♥ Ryoma-sama~~ I have a weakness for main characters and uh, something about how insolent and hilariously cool yet adorable about him made me love him.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Akutsu. To be honest, I actually straight up didn't like him at all when I met him. But now, whether it's because I ship Jin/Yuuki (oh i'm terrible) or just because he's no longer strangely crazy, I really love him. This should be read as "I use him in fiction for roles he was never intended to fit".
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t:
Fuji. I don't see anything interesting about him. No joke. I just don't get him as a character, maybe because I've never really liked the enigmatic smiling types. Also I tend not to like the older brother in incest pairings anyway? see also: Itachi.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates:Oooh, this is hard. I think the most obvious would be to say Ryoma, because I feel like no one really loves him ( ... )

This is where I should feel like everything is a lie but don't because you also want to slap Tezuka and love Ryoma and the Daddy. Those two bits completely make up for your disinterest in Fuji.

I LOVE RYOMA AND DADDY. SO. SO. MUCH. IT IS ACTUALLY, ACCORDING TO LJ, SOMEWHAT CRIMINAL LOVE.

I assume this is a song that I haven't actually put on any mix CDs, because there are songs that I always want to insert and actually do, as well. dying.
New Young Pony Club - Ice Cream
The second one is harder to answer because I don't get mix tapes, and I feel like anything random and cracky would make me really happy. But I think I also like really carefully picked tracks with, like, inside jokes and stuff, or something contemplative that shows they know and care. dying again.

And I love that Explosions... song.

For all its lack of words, EitS makes some of the most heartbreaking shit I can think of.

Specifically, was that one episode where Momo gets kicked off the regulars and Ryoma doesn't confront him about it until Momo goes to the street courts and Atobe is officially introduced as "that dude who is hitting on An Tachibana". Something about him was really reminiscent, for me, of a guy who doesn't quite know what he's doing when he's around people, but when he really cares, tries his best anyway. It's like what Yano says in Bokura ga Ita-- don't you like me the way that I am? To me there's a sort of selfish, confident likeability about Ryoma. AND I AM OKAY WITH IT XD
b. One of his/her best traits.I was going to say "his determination" but I don't think that's actually true, or well, it's doesn't make him any better than a lot of the other characters in the show/manga, so what I really want to say is, his unfailing belief that in the end, he is going to win. I think this may be because he is the main character, but to Ryoma, there's this "never ( ... )

Karen. I wanted to say Lulu but I actually don't think it's true, I loved Lulu right smack dab in the middle of the series and then fell out of love with him towards the end, so it's really Karen that made me want to keep watching the show. Like, I saw Suzaku and Lulu and the yaoi fangirl in me died squealing, but I never really cared about the show until Karen and her motley crew of rebels showed up.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
C.C. There's a definitely moe quality to her-- she's like a fanboy's Rei with wicked powers, but after the initial WTF IS SHE WEARING WHY IS SHE NOT DEAD LULZ reaction, I really warmed up to her quickly.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t:Suzaku. I really don't understand what he's trying to accomplish. I don't have a solid grasp on his character. He's just so out there and unfinished for me that I can't like him. I mean, at least if you love or hate Lulu, he's there, solid, real, obnoxious, as much of a Clamp ( ... )

HARUHI. You just can't go wrong with level-headed, cool and composed, and natural rookie female leads who are going to spend their high school careers pretending to be a male host. + MAAYA SAKAMOTO.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Kyouya. To be honest, I didn't like him at all in the beginning, because I'm not big on the megane types (unless they speak kansaiben), but then after we realized that he's just a poor terribly sad child whose only light in his life is business and Tamaki, my heart was gone.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t:
Recently-- the twins. I really liked them in the beginning, but now Kaoru and his craziness have left me with a big UH WUT TRY AGAIN KAY. Plus I basically think they're terrible people and were brought up completely incorrectly. Hikaru is becoming less interesting but more redeemable in my eyes, and Kaoru is becoming more wacked out but less easy to swallow, so
