Whoever I seem to dislike, I can't stand to see them be torn apart by someone else. That's my job, thanks. Leave it to me. Go away.

Louis doesn't know if there's a policy, but it helped make his point seem realistic. So he rolled, and Dennis didn't say anything, so it worked!

Masterlist, yes. It'll help a little. The cut thing... makes me want to pull my hair out. No matter how many times I add one, or insert one or something, I preview, and it never works. I'm going to stab it, and twist the blade.

kick-ass awesome!

the Louis dialogue is top-notch. that's exactly who he is in a series: he takes up a role of a sitcom villain and makes Mike's life harder, but he does so because he thinks both Harvey and Mike can take it. Louis is a professional in what he does (that's why Jessica keeps him) and he's also a rather good psychologist. what we see in the series is the POV of Harvey and Mike which shows us that Louis is annoying as hell but also a challenge. the side of him that is not shown directly is exactly what you've done here: he is confident, pricklish and he stands up for people he knows deserve respect.

i only hope you'll find stamina to write something lengthy involving all of the characters sometime, 'cause your characterisation is fantastic and just calls for a 20k story where it can flourish to its fullest )

That's exactly how I pictured Louis. I really like his character and every twist and turn he has. He's a villain if I've ever seen one. But he's the kind that people like to see. He not only provides some speed bumps, but he does it because it'll make them better.

The longest story I've written was a 18K+ fanfic for CSI: NY. It was a lot of fun, and I was sad to see it end. I might just have to write something lengthy. But for now, I'm still kind of getting a feel for the characters. Honestly, when I began witing for this fandom, I glared at my computer for a good thirty minutes because I've never written anyone like Harvey before. (no lie)

Maybe in the near future?

it's great that you know you need to "get to know" the characters first, 'cause there's a lot of writers out there (and not only in fandoms) who are most clearly not acquainted with people they write about and that makes the stories sound lifeless and dull. of course, what i've said above are just my voiced hopes. i just would like to imagine that you won't lose interest in this show and someday feel like adding your own big story to it ) god knows there's not enough fanfiction on Suits *_ ( ... )

GO LOUIS! :D *cheers and pumps fist*

He can be such an ass in the show, and yet I totally see this as IC -- if there's one thing he wouldn't put up with, it would be shit like this. ♥ Thanks for such a wonderful little ficlet!
