Returning to Xbox LIVE - a observation

Well, chalk it up to either an "example of excess" or an "exercise in stupidity", but I bought an Xbox 360 ELITE this week (Wednesday). Why? I think for the most part it was for "Xbox LIVE". That's why, like it or not, Nintendo's approach to online gaming has it's benefits. You don't have to deal with the obnoxious BS. It's all about playing the game and having fun. Mario Kart Wii is seriously one of the most fun online games that I've ever played.

I've only played a few PS3 games online...demos, at that. But I've never had issues. I'll have to pop Orange Box in and give Team Fortress 2 a go...if anyone still plays it.

Can't speak for the 360. I do not have one and will not buy one. What motivated you to buy yours?

Funny thing is, I think is was the same XBOX LIVE that I'm currently having problems with. But for the long run, it comes down to certain games (like "Rez HD & stuff on LIVE Arcade)

I never thought I'd buy one myself, but here I Am.

Ain't it the truth man. There's no doubt the Xbox 360 is more popular with the young punks (probably because of Halo) so we get stuck with those filthy mouth bastards.
Anyways when I normally play online it's with Tim, Berry, and a few of their friends and I always have a good time. If you wanna play some UNO or whatever just hit me up. My tag is Paladin78.
Still not sure if I'm gonna nab a PS3 soon, but I'm gonna hold out on Soul Calubur IV because if I do I'd also like to play Vader.
Also, I SERIOUSLY recommend you try Mass Effect.

What time are you normally playing? I will admit from time to time you get some crazies, but I've had a lot of good experiences too. I'll send you a friend request, I play with a decent group that isn't all bad. I'm sure Hector or Jeff could also hook you into some decent people to play with to.

Holy Crap.I have never played XBOX. Just wow. You would think they would have some kind of rules and enforce them.

That's just crazy. I mean isn't the games SUPPOSED to be fun? No one should have to subjected to that kind of stuff. We all went through this abuse in our years of school..
Imagine if some kid was playing, and his soccer mom/dad was seeing the dialog! They would complain and something would be done about it.

In FFXI(the PC online came we play) people where not bad. Then they added the Xbox version, and all kinds of idiots appeared. It got worse, then it got better somehow. I think they more strict rules, or something.

WOW. This really gives XBox a bad rep. I mean it does not make me want the system more or less, however it's a very negative aspect.

Sorry don't plan to but a XBOX anytime soon. *broke*
