Even though I act animated and excited and fangirly on lj, my life isn't the best thing. I rarely ever get to go out with my friends, my afternoons and weekends are always spent with my mom taking care of my grandma. My mom always says I don't have to go with her to take of my grandmother, but I feel like...like it's sorta my responsibility to go with her, and to help. I feel guilty when I chose to go out instead of helping my mom.I can totally relate to this. Only in a different way. My mom has MS and is pretty reliant on other people because she can't walk without at least a walker. So I'm pretty much the person who helps her. My sister is useless and my dad is working during the day and can't help her, so I usually take her to all her appointments and help her walk and what not. But don't get me wrong, my mom is the

nope, I'm not on meds, b/c like I said when I have gone to doctors, they either don't see me doing it, or they say it's too mild to medicate (and tbh, I don't wanna go on medication for it) So I just deal with it *shrugs*

(i'm copy+pasting this from my last comment b/c it'd almost 1am and i'm dead tired)

Mine is tourettes. Thankfully it's not as bad as some people (like if you've ever seen the MTV True Life episode) but it's still...troublesome. Mostly his body tics; head jerks, shrugging shoulders, leg/arm spasms, etc. but in the past it was sometimes noises (that was embarassing) like clicking my tongue, sucking in air loudly through my teeth, sniffling...annoying things like that. (We first realized I had it when I was a little kid and would like flex my jaw and clack my teeth together.) I used to hatehatehate it, b/c yeah...kids are cruel. But it's fucking annoying b/c when i've gone to doctors...it's like my body says 'fuck you' and pretty much doesn't do anything -_-
I'm still self conscious of it, and a lot of the times hyper aware of it; thinking other people are looking at me, but I've been learning to deal.

My case of trichotillomania isn't severe, but I have permanently thin/receded hair along my hairline because of pulling in the past.

I realized that I had trich in middle school, and some boy who'd never spoken to me before came up and asked me why I was always pulling out my eyelashes and eyebrow hair. :/

I still get flair ups, but I manage to relegate my pulling to places that aren't noticable (below the neck). I'm constantly pulling, but it's managable.

it gets even worse when i'm stressed or nervous..so I HATE like public speaking and shit like that
