OMG, so good. So heartbreaking at the same time. I love your description of Ethan's place, it seems like such the opposite of Brian, which was obviously the appeal.

Everyone rags on Brian for the birthday hustler, but I didn't really get upset with him for that...I really think at the time that Brian thought it *was* a good gift. The thing that made me start feeling for Justin was the picnic. I thought Brian's reaction was uncalled for and I really hurt for Justin at that point. (((Justin)))
